Pugi and His Friend

Pugi and His Friend Fairy Tale

There was a silly man whose name was Pugi. One day Pugi took his friend hunting on the condition that if a bear attacked them, they would defend one another. Pugi and his friend went to the forest. From of the trees a bear appeared and attacked the hunters. The bear barely grazed Pugi with his paw, but Pugi fell to the ground face down and held his breath, pretending to be dead. The beast sniffed the hunter. Deciding that he was dead, the bear went away. Pugi’s friend, after catching sight of the bear, had thrown down his rifle and had climbed a tree. After the bear left, the friend climbed down and asked Pugi, who was lying on the ground:

-‘For goodness sake, what did the bear whisper to you?’

The bear said that; ‘Let this incident be a lesson to you. In the future don’t be friend a man who saves himself and leaves his friend in trouble.’
